DAY 1 — EVERYTHING WILL LIVE WHERE THE RIVER FLOWS
Take a breath. Slow your pace.
FLOW SOUNDSCAPE
Scripture:
“Wherever the river flows, everything will live.” - Ezekiel 47:9 (NIV)
Devotional:
God’s presence brings life; not in a vague way, but in the deep, quiet places inside you. Ezekiel’s vision shows water trickling from the temple, becoming a river that restores everything it touches. That’s what He wants to do in you too.
Sometimes we feel stuck, busy, or spiritually dry. But even a trickle of His presence can change the landscape of your heart. Today (just like everyday) is about opening yourself to that flow.
A.W. Tozer wrote,
“Where the presence of God is, there is always life. His presence doesn’t merely improve; it creates.”
Maybe you’ve been living in places that feel dry or overrun by old patterns.
This passage invites you to ask:
What if God wants to grow something in me again?
But renewal doesn’t happen without surrender.
The river transforms what it touches but the key is this; it transforms when His ways are allowed to flow freely. When surrender (in every part of life) is our desire.
Reflection:
What is one area in your life that you have settled for spiritual dryness? What step towards God could reopen that place within you that feels dry and forgotten?
Carry This With You:
Life returns wherever you stop resisting His flow
