DAY 7 — BLESS HIS NAME

Take a breath. Slow your pace.

FLOW SOUNDSCAPE

Scripture:

“Bless the Lord, my soul… He renews your life.” - Psalm 103:1–5 (NIV)

Devotional:

Gratitude is not a mood; it’s a discipline.
A spiritual practice that reorients your heart toward the truth of who God is.

David commands his own soul to bless the Lord, which means there are days when praise is not instinctive. Days when blessing God feels uphill. These are the days worship becomes a choice, not a feeling.

But this is why gratitude carries such weight: it pulls your soul toward what is eternal instead of what is temporary.

It reminds you:
God has forgiven what you could never fix.
God has healed wounds you were too scared to name.
God has carried you through valleys you thought would crush you.
God has renewed your life more times than you remember.

Charles Spurgeon once wrote,

“When we bless God, it is because He first blessed us.”

Not every season gives clarity, but every season gives you the opportunity to remember. To recall the faithfulness of God that threads through your story.

The final note of this 7-day journey is not effort or striving —
it’s worship. Pure and simple.

Because worship reshapes your perspective.
Worship brings your soul back into alignment.
Worship is how renewal becomes real.

Bless the Lord - not because everything is easy, but because He is good.

Reflection:

As you look back on this seven-day journey, where do you see the fingerprints of God’s faithfulness in your life?

Carry This With You:

Gratitude redirects your soul toward the God who renews your life.
