DAY 4 — RENEWED STRENGTH
Take a breath. Slow your pace.

Scripture:
“Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength.” - Isaiah 40:31 (CSB)
Devotional:
There’s a kind of tired that sleep can’t fix, a heaviness that isn’t solved by a weekend off.
It’s the exhaustion of praying for something you still haven’t seen.
The stress of loving difficult people.
The burden of being faithful in seasons that felt fruitless.
The hurt of walking with God through long stretches where His timing feels slower than your desire.
And in this kind of exhaustion, God doesn’t scold you.
He strengthens you.
Isaiah 40 speaks to people who are worn-out, disappointed, and stretched beyond what they thought they could handle. Here’s what we see - strength isn’t promised to the strongest,
it’s promised to the ones who refuse to quit trusting.
Pastor and theologian John Stott once said,
“Faith is a refusal to panic.”
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is simply not give up.
Not on Him.
Not on hope.
Not on the calling He placed in you.
Not on the place where He planted you.
Renewal often comes after long obedience.
After showing up faithfully.
After walking through dry seasons with a steady heart.
After staying when leaving would have been easier.
God doesn’t just restore our strength -
He restores courage, resolve, steady joy, and the strength to rise again.
Maybe you’re not tired because you’re doing something wrong.
Maybe you’re tired because you’re doing something right, and God is shaping endurance in you.
Wherever you are in the journey let Him breathe fresh strength into your soul today.
Reflection:
Where in your life do you sense God inviting you not just to keep going, but to keep trusting Him as you go?
Carry This With You:
God renews those who keep trusting.
